Altın, kredi ve jeopolitik endişeler arasında yatırımcıların güvenli limanlara yönelmesiyle yükselişini sürdürdü ve yüzde 2,6 artışla ons başına 4.317,79 USD seviyesine ulaştı. Metal, yılbaşından bu yana yüzde 15’in üzerinde değer kazandı; bu artış merkez bankası talebi ve olası ek faiz indirimleri beklentileriyle destekleniyor.
Petrol fiyatları zayıfladı; Brent ham petrol yüzde 1,5 düşüşle varil başına 61,02 USD’ye, WTI ise 57,55 USD’ye geriledi. Bu düşüş, Donald Trump ve Vladimir Putin arasında yapılabileceği bildirilen potansiyel bir görüşmenin küresel arz endişelerini hafifletebileceği yönündeki haberlerle ilişkilendirildi. Demir cevheri, Çin’in güçlü çelik üretim verilerinin ardından ton başına 105,30 USD seviyesinde dengelendi.
Döviz piyasalarında ABD doları, tahvil getirilerinin düşmesiyle zayıfladı. Euro yüzde 0,4 artışla 1,1688 USD’ye, sterlin yüzde 0,2 yükselerek 1,3433 USD’ye çıktı; Japon yeni ise dolara karşı 150,41 seviyesinde güçlendi. Bitcoin ve Ether ise haftanın başındaki kayıplarını genişleterek yüzde 2’nin üzerinde geriledi.
