West Texas Intermediate Cuma günü tek başına %12 yükselerek varil başına 90,92 ABD dolarına çıktı ve 1980’lere kadar uzanan verilerde kaydedilen en büyük haftalık yüzde artışını gerçekleştirdi. Brent petrol haftayı 93 ABD dolarına yakın seviyede kapattı ve haftalık bazda yaklaşık %30 yükselerek son altı yılın en büyük haftalık sıçramasını kaydetti. Bölgesel göstergeler ise daha da sert yükseldi: Abu Dabi’nin Murban petrolü 103 ABD dolarında kapanırken, Umman vadeli işlemleri 107 ABD dolarına ulaştı ve Şanghay petrol vadeli işlemleri 109 ABD doları eşdeğerinde kapandı.

Altın %1,6 yükselerek ons başına 5.164,30 ABD dolarına çıktı. Ancak ABD dolarındaki geniş çaplı güçlenme, savaş kaynaklı risk priminin etkisini kısmen sınırladı.

Avustralya doları, doların genel olarak güçlenmesiyle %1,3 düşerek 69,81 ABD sentine geriledi. Euro 1,1615 ABD doları seviyesinde neredeyse değişmeden kalırken, Japon yeni dolar karşısında %0,2 zayıflayarak 157,83 seviyesine geriledi.

Kripto paralar da riskten kaçış dalgasından etkilendi. Bitcoin %4,2 düşerek 68.147 ABD dolarına gerilerken, ethereum %4,8 düşüşle 1.980 ABD dolarına indi.
